Had tripe when a kid, my aunty up in Edinburgh used to do it, cooked for 8 hrs. in milk & onions. Could'nt eat it it now.
Used to have everything as a kid, pheasant rabbit the lot.
Never had lobster as I dare'nt order it as I don't know how to eat it. Most likely would like it as I love crab & shell fish. Tried cavier & hated it, a salty mess. UURGG.

I always have great admiration for people who order spaghetti in a restaurant, even when their clothes don't match the sauce!

I have eaten it at home, but never in public!

I have to admit I have had veal - once - in France and would never have eaten it had I known at the time what it was. I wouldn't eat dog, but have eaten horse and donkey - again in France. Love snails. Otherwise I will try anything - even 'natural' fois gras - where the geese stuff themselves!!
Had a doner kebab once - that was enough! Love tripe :o) Used to kill, pluck & eat my own ducks.
I only like fresh pheasant - not the 'hung' stuff one of the advantages of being an ag lab - the boss gave us a brace every Christmas)
I have never had frogs legs - but would try them.
As for truffle, my daughter uses it instead of mushrooms, as none of the family like the texture of mushrooms, but like the flavour. Doesn't take a lot to create the same taste!! It keeps well in the freezer.
