Purple **^*Sparkly*^** Diamond Report 18 Aug 2008 15:53

I would go to a & e, I did that when my doctor, not my usual one, was less than helpful when I was crying with pain of a sore shoulder (and I have a pretty high pain threshold)

Was seen and sorted out very quickly with painkillers and exercise to help, which worked. I went along for xrays which was all my doc offered, the date I got was two months ahead, was I supposed to suffer pain all that while?

Just say you haven't been able to see doc and the pain is worse (whether it is or not, even if the same as you have had all day, they aren't to know- unless they read these threads lol)
Take care

ASK FOR YOUR DOCTOR

TO MAKE A HOME VISIT

ITS AMAZING HOW AN APPOINTMENT

BECOMES AVALIBLE IF YOU DO

NO HEADACHE SHOULD LAST THIS LONG

Eva, I have had *the prince of headaches*.
I have TEMPORAL ARTERITIS, often known as LARGE CELL ARTERITIS, CRANIAL ARTERITIS..... and the pain is unbearable!
It took an optician to take a photograph of my eye to make a doctor take me seriously.
I had had migraines since I was 17, but this was ' a change' on the pattern.
Make sure you tell your doctor where, when, and how it feels.
I have had a headache which lasted 9 days, and tried to carry on. It stopped and within 5 minutes had started at the other side of my head. that was another 5days of fun.
Called the doctor in.
Good luck Deanna X

Eva, I have to agree with Mau, I could not have read, watched TV, or sat in a smoky room... let alone be on the PC.
All that light.

God luck Eva.
