Heard on the radio that there will be far more wasps this year than other years, due to the mild spring.I hate them too, especially at this time of the year, when they just sting you without reason, i.e, waving your arms around to swat them.Love bees though, I can watch them for ages, the sound they make reminds me so much of summer days as a child.Where one of my daughters used to live, they had enormous swarms of those monster-sized Hornets. Now THEY scared the c..p out of all of us.Very difficult to kill too.

I've never seen them so bad. Last year there were hardly any. This year they are making up for it.
I didn't know they ate other insec ts Ails. They always seem to want my fruit.

we appear to have hornets again this year - have seen 3 or 4 - if not then they are flaming big wasps!

OMG............They're everywhere. I can't open my windows or doors. Hate the buggers. They are aggressive, sneaky and they sting.

What's the purpose of them. I mean where do they come in the food chain?? Spiders eat flies and flies eat s**t. I don't like spiders either but I can see their purpose. Birds eat spiders and flies. Cats eat birds. What eats wasps ??
