I make my children come off the games and computor when there is a thunder storm,, they laughed at me and complained and said I was making a fuss about nothing , next day there an article in the paper about a lad that was thrown across his bedroom by a lightning strike that travelled down the wire from his playstation to the hand controller..... they now do as I ask them xx

EEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKK, I had wandered into the garden looking for the watering can, if it isn't going to rain much I need to water my pots.
When FLASH a great blinding flash of lightning and crack of thunder 3 secs later, it didn't help I was under the apple tree when the lightning went off,,, cor I can't half move when I have too. tissing down now...

d'you know Sue, I think it's only us Welsh who refer to people being bad meaning they're ill!!! no one else seems to do it - you know - she's been bad in bed for a week now!!!!

Got quite dark here now, it seems really funny have got so used to the light nights as Colin said a bit of rain but not much so far.

did you ring the girls Sue? Still very muggy and extremely overcast here - but no rain or thunder and lightning at the moment but I'm not ruling it out!!

Maggie,

It's still quite humid to be honest. We still have windows/doors open. I have been putting the fan on in the bedroom for an hour before going to bed. It helps a bit.

Hi Sue :o)
It was forecast. Has the mugginess dropped now - it's really bad here - feels like hot flushes again!!
Have to keep asking my daughter how hot she is just to reassure myself!!!

lost all power for a while, really heavy rain, thunder and lightning!

Hope it dissipates before it hits the next person
