Ann I missed both of the webbs one's. I thought Bristol would be quite central. Approx 2 hours by train form Brum, Plymouth, Portsmouth and London. |

We have had three meets at pubs near parkway station, one only last year. Can't remember the name of the second pub we used which was better than the first but Guinevere might remember, or Viv, or Mandy if she is looking in tonight. |

Well the river runs through the centre of Bristol so you can go downtown to where the theatres and pubs are. Theres a floating restaurant as well which overlooks the prettier side of town. |

Yes the 'nice' train station is Templemeads its very beautiful and historic. Bristol is undergoing a multi million pound redevelopment at the moment though and wont be finished till late sept - so driving by sat nav is a NO NO! LOL |

Maddie it would be Templemeads. as trains from both Birmingham and Cornwall and Devon way come into there. |

Theres quite a few of us live this way on here. Depends what sort of meet you want, theres Bristol Zoo if you want to bring kids and have a picnic, The Mall for Coffee's or most people can bus or train it to Broadmead for Pubs and restaurants. |
