We used to hold Eisteddfods at our grammar school, and you had to use a Nom-de-plume on your entries. One teacher, our History master, had started to call me Passionflower, don't know why, but I was a tiny, skinny timid little thing, under 5', no boobs, straight hair, so I think there was a bit of sarcasm there lol.
I used the name for an entry into a craft section and blow me down, I won! Had the name Passionflower called out and had to go up in front of all the school to get my prize! Never lived it down and even now, at school reunions, people remember lol

in infants and juniors it was Golly cos of my very curly hair - then in grammar school it was Willy cos my surname was Williams!!
