Well done kiddo..... you're doing him a favour by going in whilst in a caste so don't let him think otherwise!!

Diana

already thought of that one lol

if he comes back and says less hours but less pay, then i won't be going in

already told him it's costing me alot more to use the train than i would spend on petrol

and shopping is costing more cos i am using small local shops and/or paying for tesco delivery

Anita

One tip when talking to boss...... don't let them reduce your pay if you are doing reduced hours..... as they would have to pay you in full if you went off sick

Thanks D and Lisa ~~~~~waves~~~~~

Hi Liz

Yes afraid Norwich seems to be out off the question - can't drive, and i did look into trains but it's about 4-5 hours with about 5 changes!!!

If it was a simpler journey i would do it -but ......

But like Diana hinted - it's happened for a reason

Oh b***er Anne, that scuppers Norwich for you unless someone else is coming from your area. I am so disappointed for you and for us.
We will have to arrange another meet when you are fit to drive again, gives you time to save up so you can defo stay over.
Hope things look up for you soon.

ooh thats the one i broke and even when they found it on the bone scan after 5 weeks there was nothing they could do. Just started physio to try and sort out the tendons which is very painful and i still cant take any weight on my wrist and this happened in October 2006.

Dont hold your breath.......

dont be fobbed off with it will get better on its own either

hope you feel better soon ;-)

McAnne's Gahan-Crazy Report 13 Jun 2008 13:40

I thought today would go against tradition and be lucky for me

had my fracture review at A&E this morning

it's not so much bad news as inconclusive but it's not good news

still have a cast on my wrist and have to wait for an appointment in 2-3 weeks for a bone scan to be certain

they think there may be a hairline fracture in the scaphoid - bone scan will confirm

so - that's scuppered my plans in coming weeks cos i still cant drive

waiting for boss to call back and tell me if he wants me to get signed off for two weeks or if they will let me work reduced days & hours

*sighs*
