Ok made the disc tried it, still no success. Downloaded mozilla firefox and installed it and now works fine.... still no idea why but it works so thats enough for me! Thanks for your help Errol and Steve.

When you say no success do you mean you were unable to install it or that you installed it but the site still wouldn't display?

(Just an idea but I would be surprised if it was this simple. Click on the Tools menu in Internet Explorer and select Internet Options. Click on the Advanced tab. Scroll down to the section that says Multimedia and check that there is a tick next to "Play animations in webpages".)

I have a sneaky feeling because it wont D/L with IE its because the admin permissions are set wrong

i know its a know prob with dell lol

Flashplayer installed but the site wouldn't work, already checked the play animations bit and the active x settings. But it's working with Firefox.
