We have to condemn publicly on these boards the very idea that some individuals feel they have the right to assault others. |

We may not remember her name but we should remember what she has done, that's the important part. |

Very brave lady and she did do the right thing although it must have been so difficult for her. A different situation saw my son's bike stolen by a lad in the next town. My son knew who he was but before the police went to the house his father turned up at the police station with son and bike and told them his son had obviously stolen it. They rang me and asked if I wanted to take it further and I said no, but just scare him a little. With his Dad's permission they kept him in for 3 hours. A week later my son received, through the police station, a written apology. |

Do you think Gordon Brown should telephone her - as reports today say he has done for some other citizens? |

I agree with all that has been said. We parents & grandparents must take a stand in these situations. |

For doing the right thing this poor woman has lost everything that she loved, even her precious Grandchildren. how my heart bleeds for her.what chance have these children got to grow into well rounded adults with parents like they have? |
