I would say WW2...I think it changed peoples way of thinking in general....Women where appreciated more too. xx |

I would think it would be a culmination of all those things as they are all intertwined! One paving the way for the other. Mary Wolstencroft wrote a Vindication of the Rights of Women" way before the suffragettes and don't forget that ww1 had a major impact on British Society! |

Probably World War 2 as that, for the first time in history, got almost all the women into the work-force and showed society that women could do so much more than stay at home looking after the menfolk and having children. |
