Im looking forward to it - my sis and I used to always have a bottle of wine or two and score it whilst watching Terry get sozzled.

We are a few hundred miles apart this year, but I will be working the rest of this afternoon to finish the first coat in my hall so I can shove my tea on at half seven, shower and settle down in front of the TV for 8 with tea and some falling down water.

My sis and I are going to text our votes to each other. Will be a silly giggle - but got to be done.

Having the Eurovision party ,flags etc. all guests have secret picked a couple of countries each and have to supply the relevant drink and food. It has become an institution and I love it. many guests don't make it home tonight. OH always supports the one in the skimpiest outfit and insists it is because she has the best song or voice ---OH YEA!!! All welcome pick your country and we could have a virttual party !!!

Devon Dweller Report 24 May 2008 16:38

Can't face another year of "nil points", its a farce! I particularly like Andy and can't bare to see him treated the same as other British artists

lol Colin.... they have altered the voting system, I don't fully understand it, but it is something that will help to eliminate some of the erm, well... political posting, lol!!

For me, that is half the fun though!

Love

AnninGlos Report 24 May 2008 16:20

Yes, will watch it for a giggle and to see who votes fro who. We will never win as it is too political but I love T Wogans comments. To think we actually used to take it seriously!!!

Me, I want to see if the Turkey wins for Ireland. They say it is too expensive to keep winning, would love it if the Turkey wins & they have to host it again. Did'nt watch the semis so hope it is still there.

I must admit I do love Casualty and will miss it. We haven't watched any of the run-up to Eurovision and couldn't even tell you what our song is! However, OH thinks it'll be a laugh!

I'll be making a curry and I think we'll make it into a carpet picnic in front of the tv!

After a few glasses of wine it should seem ok!

My five year old got a microphone and guitar for her birthday and I reckon I'll enjoy listening to her efforts more than the Eurovision entries.......bad though she is she's much easier on the ears lololol xx

I love Casualty, but it's moved all over the place for whatever the latest craze is but I do think TV is rubbish at the weekend, I have the first two series of WDYTYA on DVD so I usually end up watching them.
