Yes, Ann, I am Irish.Where were you born?I come from Cork, but my father was Scottish.Easter mentions pigs trotters, we used to call them crubeens.Never ate them, my mother only cooked them for our uncle who lived with us, we were allowed to suck the bones! Sounds disgusting now, doesn't it? |

My mother made the most gorgeous apple pie. Another favourite was tripe cooked in milk and onions.The latter will probably make most of you shudder. |
