"I'm not afraid to die. I just don't want to be there when it happens."
(Woody Allen).

since my lovely OH died nearly six years ago I have no fear whatever about dying - I was with him when he died and if there is the slightest possibility I will see him again, bring it on I say - no fear whatsoever - just hope it's a "tidy" death, in my own bed preferably

I'm not afraid of death....................I believe in the soul going on.

If I am wrong I won't know anything about it anyway:)

The actual process of dying scares me though.............I have seen a few people die during my time working in nursing and care homes..........and not all of them were peaceful deaths:(

Nope Im not afraid to die and have had a couple of near misses but would prefer it to be when my children have grown up, not that I got any choice in the matter lol

hi John regarding actually being interred while still alive.........I dont think that there is much chance of THAT happening, because after they've had all yer bits on the table, taken out what THEY want to keep and chucked the rest back in, I should think that the person would be very much dead anyway.

Well if anyone else has had the White light experience, there is nothing to be afraid of,just a short journey from one place to another.
I was questioned by a very young doctor who was eager to know what it was like, calm peaceful and I'll admit to have been a bit cross at being brought back !

It happened to a man in Glasgow 3 times he had to have a disc round his neck. One woman in America was in the morgue, couldn't speak it was only the mortuary attendant who saved her saw the tears pouring out of her eyes. Just doesn't bear thinking about. Me I want second opinions not some junior doctor's say so, or I aren't gonner go.
