My younger sister suffered with the same thing for a long time...she eventually had a hysterectomy last year

hi la thanks yes she has already had 1 ovary removed but desperately wants baby,i too hope they can do something to improve this,i find it astoundin that there r still so many things in this world without cures wen if it was a weapon it would have been invented if u know wat i mean xx

Unfortunately the only 'cure' is to have a hysterectomy, which at 23 is not really an option.
There is a coil that can be fitted, and also medications to help ease the symtoms....I hope she sees a specialist soon and they at least manage to ease the pain she is in ((hugs))

ff, pmd you hun, sounds dreadful condition. Sending gentle hugs to your daughter (hug).

Ive got degenerative back disease, lol, when son was 6 it just went, was bent over, doubled! Screaming at consultants. Morphine, others ...
Was told by Consultant couldn't work any more, not to make beds, clean bath ... wear back out. Lol was only in 30's, have worked all way through.

Was time had to take 8 Cocodomol tabs + Neurofen in between, now down to 1 tab a day. Hopefully daughters situation will be helped by right medication, new cures found every day. Crosses fingers hun.

THANKS its just horrible seein her in pain and being able to do nothing was in a&e with her last nite as codiene and tramadol werent touching it hospital put her appointment back 2 weeks and dr last nite said to tell them she is young and taking very strong painkillers and they need to traet the endro xx

hi just wondered if any1 on here knew much about this subject as my 23 yr old daughter suffers dreadfully from it and is on very strong painkillers had to go to a&e last nite so bad and they gave her morphine.just wondered is there a cure ?what can b done ? thanksx
