Do not be concerned for fire with kerosine unless you are close to naked flame, as it is the flame that gets the fumes not the kerosine or fuel itself., the fumes will irritate the eyes but you only apply a small amout.

Loadsa conditioner on the hair & a nit comb & they can't get a grip.

Scenario in A&E..just put kerosene on little Berties head for the nits & thought I'd have a cig while we waited,will we really have to change his name to Duncan Doctor??

you need only try it once.

another remedy,
who has heard of nit and lice in the hair problems?

Instead of using the very strong chemicals you find on the store shelf that actually is a nerve agent against the bug and can penetrate your skin,
use kerosine and massage it into the hair, it will burn the lice and eggs and when you wash it out, the oil of the kerosine leave a nice shine to your hair.

Control of dandruff.
Caster oil and bi carb soda,

Couple of tablespoons of bi carb soda,
enough oil to make a thin paste,

massage well into scalp,

place towel over shoulders,
place shower cap or cling wrap over head,

allow to sit half hour to an hour,
it will get itchy along the way,
simply wash out with fav shampoo and conditioner,

the bi carb helps to lift the dandruff will the oil leaves,
a nice shine to the hair.
