I would have thought you would have had to press the start button on the shreeder before it would start shreeding. Or is yours automatic or something.

Yesterday I placed fourteen football autographs into a polythian sleeve (approx.A4). Placed the sleeve on the shelf just to the left of my computer and about two feet above me. A couple of minutes later the sleeve which was directly above my shredder on the floor, slid off the shelf, straight into the 'mouth' of the shredder.. Didn't even tough the sides or jam, just straight through. All within a spate of two or three seconds. For that length of time I just sat wand watched, dumbfounded. By the time I realised what had happened, the sleeve and its contents had gone through.. Although the autographs weren't completely destroyed, due to the polythian sleeve, they were a complete write-off as far as putting them on EBay was concerned.. Reckon that cost ne about £35.. Guess somebody 'up there' didn;t want me to sell them... I've tried a dozen times or more to 're-enact' the scene and each time a million miles away from doing it... "Gob-smacked"......John..
