well we finally made a long overdue visit to Canada 2001 the first week 9/11 happened.staying with youngest Sis & Bil had repeatable asked us over but were both working till 1998 so wasnt poss.
Would love to be at sis house again ,she & OH have downsized to another house in Chilliwack that was a new build .is described as a Townhouse but is the end of a three block .we would call in end of terrace I think. Knowing Sis tho and her taste would think its a super duper of a house.
Canada was lovely and so were the people. we were greeted warmly whenever we opened our English accent mouths.
If i could go back further i would be with my foster parents in WW2 when i went to Kent as a London evacuee. Or to the late 1940s-1950 when we all at home reunited again as a family
three more children had arrived form 1939 - 1945 ,but I remember vividly the arrival of my youngest sis in 1949 when I was 12.
She's the sis who now lives in Canada.

Trebah Gardens in Cornwall - just me, OH and a dog or two, walking down that beautiful garden to the little beach at the end. And a handsome waiter bringing us cappuccinos and pastries at the end of our walk!

Do you mean the tunnel that goes to Wisemans Bridge?

It is a small world I stopped off for lunch in the Woodridge in Pentlepoir on our way back from Laugharne yesterday, we go there for meals at it is children friendly and has amusements for them.

I'm ok right here!! Even though the garden is like a builders yard, and the house still needs loads doing to it, it is such a beautiful spot!

Or on Newgale Beach with my two dogs (both sadly deceased!) In the wind.... whipping up the waves and putting a glow on my cheeks. With my granddaughters running ahead.

*sigh* I was so FIT then!!

That's about it, really.

Love
