can i just ask, soz if this seems a bit daft but. Do you have to put a photo on of yourself on facebook? I keep getting invitations from people on there.

I have joined but as thick get things mixed up think i am a vampire or a werewolf or both and they bite one another a lot also have a fairy and plants and gifts but am not giving up, took me 12monthes to find general on here and add to it Valxxx

All you do is enter brief details - some of friends give schools, jobs, ... I don't, also watched TV prog bout it, went straight in and changed. Same here, only few know my real name (family reasons).

l found my son on face book after 12 years last week wished that l had not bothered as he sent me a nasty email via them l wont be getting in touch with him again unless he grows up
l thought that him being 29 he might at long last have seen things from my point of view but he seems to have a warpt view of the past and not moved forward

I watched a program on bbc1 this morning called 'click' its on the morning program around 7.30am. They were talking about facebook and how no gooders were using information to steal peoples ids. Although you might hide your personal info, the innocent info you do show is used. Unfortunately I was at work when it was on and I got distracted. All I'm saying is be careful. xx

Yes this old lady loves facebook, bingo, scramble and the others. lots of bickering between me and my friends as to who is the best etc

i find face book very time consuming!
it take me ages to look at everything that people send me, reply and forward stuff.
i seem to have no more time for anything else! lol

I work in a school so won't accept any from neighbours (live round corner from school) or ex pupils - friends, family + of course, lots of teaching staff. Have to be careful!

Some friends now abroad, F'book great for keeping in touch, even if people go on hol, lol! x

I love it:) I've got a lot of mates who use it and some family too plus quite a few mates who I'd lost touch with have found me on there. It's a really easy way of keeping in contact with people. I can't see a downside really as long as yr sensible and keep your privacy settings right.

I know some people add everyone they can get their hands on so they look really popular but that ain't what I'm on there for.
