RS can't his family contact a national newspaper asking for some coverage? It is so sad. I remember this story at the time on the news & no, it has not had enough exposure. |

it's threads like this that make you think all the crap that goes on esp on here - is just rubbish compared to a missing child like Daniel and others. |

I'm very sorry to say that I never heard about this poor little lad. For a short while in this country did they introduce missing photo's on milk cartons? More desperately needs to be done to solve these cases when children go missing. |

Yes purple diamond he was a lively lad, and a very lovable one at that. I do not remember lots on TV coverage though. The family do feel resentful (and who wouldnt?) that he doesnt get huge international, or even national media coverage. |

I remember Daniel Entwhistle going missing and I think everyone felt certain he had gone into the river and been swept out to sea, there was a lot of coverage in the local papers and on tv and I assume there would have been info in national papers too at the time. I think because of the probability of him being lost in the water it wasn't much considered that it was an abduction case. I think I am right in saying he was a very overactive lad, adhd? and so very likely to have been scrambling about by the river edge or more. It isn't a gentle river bank but a concrete edge I think I recall. |

My thoughts for his family at this sad time. I can only begin to imagine what they feel like from a) when my son was missing for about 5 hours when he ran off when he was 11, fortunately we found him on his bike in the Forest of Dean. The police were just about to put it on TV, that was in 1978. We were at our wits end not knowing where he was. And |

i just about remember Ben Needham (the little boy in Greece),but i think it was more a programme interviewing his mother.I just think its a disgrace that the media dont keep going until an outcome is found, will certainly be lighting a candle for Daniel this Saturday. |

Not having heard of this appalls me. Made me think of the little boy (would be a man now) on holidays with his Grandparents (Greece?) who just vanished. |
