Are they willing to take copies of people's family trees. That is such a good idea.

Just take/make arrangements to give them a copy - possibly a disc and a paper copy - at least the technology of reading does not change!

Germaine,,
Rather than floppy disc, I suggest you get a Memory Stick, which will hold lots of info and can be plugged into any computer usb. Len,

Oh some they will have to redo but a lot on paper so as long as they can read lol.
It will be OK.
I know what you mean about changing technology though I had some things on floppy disc got a new pc and no floppy disc will have to get one and transfer that .
Did start to put everything on paper but so many census now couldn't keep up with the ink.

I do have my tree on the internet.
But all my research etc. is in files or on discs and I have told my daughter that on no acount to throw it out. Even if they are not interested someone down the line will surely be . A lot of hard work goine into it .
If they do throw it I will come back and haunt them :-)

I know this has been asked before but I can't find the thread.

Have you made any provision?
Is it on the internet etc?
