Oh my word, I'm gobsmacked and trust me, that doesn't happen very often! When we're there, go for walks on Dartmoor (5mins down lane) - so peaceful!

Only 5 miles away, would love to meet up when visit them! I remember Chi Chi. Went to see Gypsy Moth after Chay Blythe went round world (lived in Goodmayes then); prob lots older than you!

well, ss,im 5miles from tavistock in a village called gunnislake so when you come down we can meet up
did you see big fire in camden market few weeks back that made me very sad
i dont remember riding on elephants at zoo but certainly the camels
and chi chi the giant panda ahh

I'm prob much older Christina, remember LondonZoo when you could ride on the elephants, lol.

One of my aims is to go to Camden Market, travel down river to Zoo. Nearly went to Cornwall but hub had hosp op come up. Family in Devon, Tavistock, that's near C'wall - didnt realize til too late!

Been abroad couple of times, but love UK.

York's beautiful Caz, the cathedral, atmosphere, buildings. Used to live in St Albans, dates back to Romans, lots of Tudor buildings and more. Love history.x

i from camden town, i know regents park really well, used to bunk into zoo every sunday when i was little - but dont tell them
i know its changed nowadays and i now love living in cornwall especially for the pace of life but i do love to get back to london now and again
i really need to visit the east end as thats where a lot of my rellies were from - maybe next time

OH and I spent fab couple of days there recently. He booked fab hotel, + tickets for London Eye/River Cruise, so enjoyed!

What part you from? Always feels comfy when I'm there, love walking through Regents Park ...

im on a weekend trip to london next weekend and we have planned a trip up the thames like you i just hope it will smell familiar left london 25yrs ago only been back handful of times but i love the atmosphere although the westend nightlife has changed - rickshaws everywhere !!!

Nearly fainted, last time I was there smelt nice. I haven't lived there for yrs, but was born in Whitechapel, lived Poplar too so perhaps it just smells familiar. Doesn't say much for my sense of smell though!

Just in case, I'll change it - throw a party instead! Lol
