There are meets where members can socialise and put faces to names.

If you want to arrange one in your local area try putting up a thread and see if anyone is interested, or look out for one being arranged near to you.

Hi Sarah,
I also have just found this part of Genes....what I was looking for is to see if there are any local groups....who get together to help each other in the search for our Ancestors.....and pass on any helpful tips ......and of course to socialise with people who have similar interest.

My aunt was apparently raped and put in a institution. The family moved away from the area leaving her behind!! Anyway its been years of searching for me but i finally found her buriel place, which i now own the plot so that she may rest in peace and not be disturbed.

Hi am not new to Genes united but new to this part of it. Thought i would join in and see how this works! As i am currently looking for an ancester who is difficult to pin down. Also have after yrs and yrs of searching foung my Great Aunts buriel place and story which is sad.
