	Dee, this is sad news, I know how it feels to lose a beloved pet, having been through it many times. I hope Barney has a bit more time left with you without pain or discomfort and you can feel glad you were the ones to give him such a lovely life. Lizx

	oh dee, im so sorry, if you have seen my thread, i lost my lovely dog two wks ago so i know what its like,make him comfortable,love him,and talk to him,and i hope he has a peaceful last wks, please ,please dont let your vet give him rimadyl(painkiller)xx bestwishes.

	Oh Dee. I can so sympathise.I lost one of my cats a few years back. OH and I were deliberating as to taking her back for further tests, and woke to find she had passed away.Think she knew! Be strong! Gail

	poor you, poor Barney - son has a bull mastiff, Honey - the softest most adorable dog you could ever come across - they are just lovely, as are all the bull breeds
