at least the first half was before I was 10 yrs old,
dad was a council worker, not really sure on his position, may have been an overseer of works, transfered around with the jobs being done.

lived in Wales all my life - Whitchurch in Cardiff for the majority and Caerphilly for seven years when we bought our first property - housing was cheap there compared with Cardiff at the time

So many places starting with a "W" took me back to when I worked in Colchester and lived in London. The train back on a Friday evening was licensed, and the standing order was that, every time you passed a station starting with "W" you had another whisky. It was called the "W Express".

Strangely enough, I can't remember any of the stations...........

When I lived in Windsor, it was in the castle wall! Honestly there was a door in the castle wall and there was living accomodation there.

I was born there 1954, at Church Farm, I think we lodged there, I remember visiting Mr & Mrs Loader & Miss Kisling who lived there, they belonged to the Salvation Army
