A chance to share your favourite Eurovision moments of the past.

What about Puppet on a String or Congratulations?

And what about the Euro Maister, Terry Wogan?

Is there any Euro song that has become a real classic?

Not a lot of people know this, as they say, but....

In 1978, during the performance of the Israeli entry, the Jordanian broadcaster JRTV suspended the broadcast and showed pictures of flowers.

When it became apparent during the later stages of the voting sequence that Israel was going to win the Contest, JRTV abruptly ended the transmission.

Afterwards, the Jordanian news media refused to acknowledge the fact that Israel had won and announced that the winner was Belgium (which had actually come 2nd.

So much for the Euro vision of music creating peace and harmony.......

Waterloo by Abba has to be most memorable - today it's all political voting - never bother to watch

Best thing to come out of it was Riverdance - they were part of the entertainment when Dublin hosted the contest

Have to say that the best thing about Euro is Terry Wogan. Watching him get more and more "Irish" as the night goes on is a real treat.
