Ok Liz, I can wait lol Glad you are settling in and have got your internet on now.
Can you not rig up a pulley system from your flat to McD's, phone them and pay by credit card and they whoosh the food over lol

:-)) Thanks everyone. I'm so touched by all the kind messages. The flat is coming together nicely. The OT has recommended a wet room but said it could take the council a while to do it. I'm getting loads of aids to help round the flat.

Claire, the new bed came on Tuesday and is the most awesome bed that I've ever slept in. If I could opt to never leave it then I would, LOL. Comfy comfy.

Unfortunately the money has run out so I'm afraid, Liz, that you might have to wait a while to get that spot on my sofa bed.

Cazzles, we will indeed have to organise that meet. I hadn't even thought about how close I was to the beech here, too busy fretting about the stoopid one way system that takes me half way round town just to get to mcdonalds (which I can see from my window) LOL.

I did miss you all, and started having withdrawal symptoms within an hour of being told that it would be 7-10days. Glad they were erring on the side of caution though, I don't think I'd have made it over the weekend LOL.

I was thinking about you yesterday Liz and guessed you had no internet yet. I bet you are too tired to have withdrawal symptoms with all the settling in and such.
