Glad he is home.
What a waste of funds, and incompetence to send him home without tests.Too much admin methinks!
My OH has been waiting for 7 weeks to get his liquid oxygen sorted out, lack of communication between departments, consequently has only been out once since Christmas. It came yesterday,so we are going out Friday for our Wedding Anniversary.Whoopee!!!
Take care Pauline.

Glad Nick is at home and that he will be having tests - but agree with everyone else what a load of red tape.

Good news that he's home.................but I agree about the red tape for having tests.

Absolutely ridiculous!!

glad things are improving - how absolutely ridiculous that they had to wait for a GP referral to do tests when he was already in hospital!!! talk about red tape!!!!

Glad he is home and arrangements being made to sort out the problem. Thought people would be interested in learning more about the illness as I had never heard of it either.
Wish him well soon.

POSITIVE Pauline Report 15 Apr 2008 22:34

Just to let you all know that Nick is back home again, with numerous tablets to take. As this is the third occurence of the problem in 18 months, he wants it investigated further. What I find so frustrating is that he was in the hospital, but they cannot run tests until he has a referral from his GP!!!

Things are on the move now on that front. He has an appointment tomorrow for a series of blood tests, and then has to wait for the results. He has seen the GP this afternoon, and I have to say that he appears to be very understanding. Have to wait and see how things develop. We are just pleased that he is back home again.

Thank you so much for your support yet again, and thanks Liz for loking up the medical info on his problem.
