Anne , you would need to consult your GP who could possibly arrange for you to undergo "Sleep observation" at the appropriate centre dealing with such problems. I cannot tell you where your nearest one is but there are quite a few I believe.

Good Luck

Hi Anne , just a thought ... if you think you have had a good nights sleep and still feel constantly tired , especially when you wake up , maybe you are suffering from sleep apnoea (Apnea). Just a thought as I said !

Wish you better

McAnne's Gahan-Crazy Report 15 Apr 2008 09:45

Hi Kay

Well yes, it goes without saying that my emotional wellbeing is not 100% just now - hasn't been for a couple of years, hence the anti-depressants.

And yes i do spend my evenings alone but i am used to that now.

Went to bed at 9.15pm last night - slept well, but still struggled to wake for the alarm - still feel tired and dizzy now - and have a headache, as usual lol

It takes a while to kick in but sometimes they are on offer so get stocked up. When I took them years ago, my Mum knew if I had run out as she could see the difference when I was and wasn't taking them. Just check on line about the way they might interact with your Ads.
Hope you manage to get some good sleep later.

Hi Anne, I had that for years then got the fm diagnosis and then chronic fatigue one. Before the diagnosis I was told it was depression and given Antidepressants which didn't help that much.
Try taking Q10 s and see if they help but also talk to your gp again too.
Good luck, horrible when you can't live life the way you want cos you always feel tired.

Hi Dee

Ah yes - forgot about that lol

Yes even tho GP tells me my hormone levels did not indicate it whenever it was they were checked, i know that my body is telling me different ........ that's partly what caused me going back on ADs 14 months ago, because i had an emotional breakdown for some silly reason when I was attending the Nurse for a blood test............

Could you be peri-menopausal - it can last 10 years before the menopause actually occurs.

I had my menopause at 47 years old, and the years between my mid 30's and then were very difficult.

McAnne's Gahan-Crazy Report 14 Apr 2008 13:51

Hi Caz - i'm lucky that i only have myself and the cats to look after - but have to admit my house is falling behind now, as i don't have the energy to keep on top of stuff.

Hi Linda - I think they have been checking thyroid along the way and also for diabetes as well - but i will mention it again, thanks.

Puss - I am sure my GP will - he's very open minded and doesn't dismiss things.

I'm really bad today - but that hasn't been helped by being woken at 3.30am by one of my cats being beaten up by an uninvited tom cat.

I just cannot stop yawing - you know when you can't yawn wide enough? ? ? my eyes are dropping constantly and if i had any to hand i'd be dowing some Pro Plus tabs ..............

It is McAnne, i don't work now but when I did I don't know how I got through some days. I find I struggle to focus and begin to feel giddy. I remember someone once saying to me "if you don't sleep it must be because you're not tired!!"
