I would rather spend 3 minutes signing a worthless petition than not bother and condemn a dog to death xx

I'm glad I didn't see the pictures........I'm even more glad though that it was a hoax......the thought of a dog starving to death for the sake of *art* sat very badly with me and I'm not sure I'd have slept well tonight..........so ta for that Tania xx

Well lets hope so Tania, but even if the story you read is the true one... and lets hope it is... how could any one use a starving animal like that.
Feeding and watering aside.... in the picture I saw, it was cowering on a floor tied to a rope which could allow only a couple of feet movement.

Sorry the thread was so long so thought I would post here.
a friend sent me that last week and of course I was appalled.
She quickly sent another mail though saying it was a hoax.
In the artists home city there are hundreds of dogs running around the streets in that condition.
he wanted to show the hypocrisy of people who turn a blind eye to them so he used one in his exhibition.
The dog was in that terrible condition when he got it
It was fed and watered.
The only thing I dont agree with was that the poor thing was let escape back to the streets afterwards.
he was quite right about the response the same people that ignore them were up in arms about the starving dog at the exhibition.
In fact it raised outrage on a global scale, the man has even received death threats .
It certainly makes you aware though, who does care for starving animals in the third world,
Regards Tania
