Hey Cyrstal fancy that. You work in Rochdale and I work in Oldham. We must pass each other in the mornings.
Im the one in the big queue on Manchester rd!!

I have lived in Whitworth all my life and so it seems has another 5 generations.

It took my family 200 years to get over a hill!!!

I was born at Boundary Park hospital, used to live next door-but-one to the other Boundary Park, the Latics (Chaddy end gates)

By the way Sandra, if you're getting a laptop from PCWorld it might be worth checking if Latics are at home today - the car park is a nightmare when they are.

Thanks to everyone for adding to my first topic post - perhaps I should have put it on chat, but I was so excited about the snow, and only me up and about, I just wanted to tell someone!

It's been bright and sunny here for the last hour, but is looking a bit suspect now! It's clouding over and looking very grey now.

Thanks for the tip C Tips.

Have been stuck on that car park before...last time when Latics played Blackpool in play offs. Took me ages to get home.

Still bright, no snow, but clouds thickening!!!!!!!

Had it all today - snow, sun, sleet, hailstones but alas no rainbow. I gave up pegging my washing out then bringing it in when the weather took a turn for the worse.
I'm not usually a talking about the weather person ... my favourite quote is someone writing (obviously years ago before e-mails) to the Met Office saying that she had just shifted 6 inches of 'rather cloudy' off her front path!
