	I have heard this on Sky News - it just makes me think what is the world coming to. Hope Shannon comes out of this ok. Love Mary xx

	BBC confirm it is the step-father who has been arrested so perhaps the uncle who abducted her knew what was going on and took her away to protect her?

	I knew something wasnt right with this guy, and said to OH more than meets the eye with this man,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,perhaps that why she didnt go home and the step uncle thought he was keeping her safe,, hopefully things did not get to any no return stage,,,,,,,,,,,,,

	Shannon's step father has been arresed for having indecent images of children. this is the guy that is 22yrs old. Sue

	horrifying news on BBC News 24 just now - a 22 yr old man has been arrested in connection with the Shannon abduction - charged with possession of pornographic phtographs of child/children
