Had our gas meter removed to literally the other side of the wall,as it was under the sink in the cupboard, and we wanted it outside. It cost about £500,which we thought was rather a lot as it just backed on to the outside wall.It was Transco who did it for the gas board |

We had our leccy meter moved 4 years ago, it was outside the front of the house, we had it put around the back, we were initially quoted £200-£500. When it came to the bill was less than £150, carried out by the local electrical supplier. |

I wanted my electric meter moved to outside which meant it was virtually being turned around as the place it was to go was the other side of the wall...it was going to cost £1,000 so you can guess what I said....NO THANK YOU. That was 9 years ago! |

We are hoping to put in a car parking space at the side of the house. Gas meter is in the way. |
