Hayley - is it because as he thinks you're the best thing since sliced bread and he loves you to bits ... that every other man must feel the same way about you? I'm not sure if this is jealousy or not 'cos I don't really understand jealousy. Is it protectiveness? Or is he a bit insecure - 'cos he thinks you're the best thing ... ??

WC.....what I meant is....if I was to flirt with someoe it would be to get their attention..."like do you fancy me ? now ask me out ".....but I have no interest in other men then my OH...so too me I am not flirting...I am just chatting....

Uggers

Uggers Report 25 Mar 2008 23:23

Probably not, Wildcat - I'm not to everyone's taste:)) Hello:)

Wild Cat

Wild Cat Report 25 Mar 2008 23:21

Thats good question too Hayley,i think lot depends on how confident or insecure the person is.
Hello,Uggers,dont think'spoken to you before

Uggers

Uggers Report 25 Mar 2008 23:05

Jill, I think that's something both men and women do:) I've been hit on before my both sexes and never realised and then a mate has said well, it was your own fault:))

Don't some men see women flirting when the women are just having a natter and a laugh?

I've never lived with / gone out with a jealous type- even remotely jealous. My OH wouldn't notice even if I was flirting. Although he'd probably be right as I woudn't know how anyway!!

Uggers

Uggers Report 25 Mar 2008 23:01

Maybe I have a lot of female stuff (can't remember proper word) in me cos I apparently do that:) Flirting can be a minefield.

Silly Sausage

Silly Sausage Report 25 Mar 2008 23:00

Yeah see I don't realise I am doing but OH said I am and so have my friends....but its not too...I can't think of a word to say it..

Uggers

Uggers Report 25 Mar 2008 22:58

Good question, Hayley. Probably a bit relevant too. I think they often do, although my OH is an excellent flirt and I've never realised someone's hitting on me til I get propositioned.

Do women and Men have differant ideas about whats flirting and what isnt ?

Uggers

Uggers Report 25 Mar 2008 22:56

Sort of what I was typing at the same time, Jill:)

Uggers

Uggers Report 25 Mar 2008 22:55

Hello Wildcat - I agree with that, I just think that if men are reacting badly to being scorned they often do so physically or obviously. In my experience, women more often seem to use their brains.

Good evening Rose:))

At the risk of sounding a bit sexist ... I think women can be more devious than men. Which can come across as cruel or nasty! I own up to having been particularly horrible to my ex-husband on occasions. I reduced him to tears once. But hey, that was his problem not mine. Was I being cruel or was I getting my own back? Dunno. Depends on your interpretation I think.
