Sorry Peeps - have reduced my aaahhh!
OH is power washing patio. God bless him for doing it.

The tap has leaked and sprayed all over the sink, clean dishes in rack, down the cupboards inside the cupboards on the floor.

Told OH. Came in and rectified it leaving me to mop up everywhere - did not particularly want to do a spring clean in my under the sink cupboard but there you go!

Next he washed off with the power washer the filth that came off the floor onto the patio doors took him only a second.

I turned my back and there is a lovely lake of water in the living room.

I hope you can sense the calm !

So out with the same old mop and mop up that!


That was 40 mins ago. We have had lunch a hastily made sandwich - lovely. OH now doing the front path. I am looking after two pans of curry one vindaloo for himself - which I now sincerely hope burns the a....e off him and one medium one for me.

I am just about to start on here and thought oh no the saucepan is boiling over with the curry.

Oh no if it was that easy.

The tap is just sprouting out water like a blinky ornamental fountain and in what direction is it going ? towards the window where it can drip into the sink ? -

OH BLINKY NO!

ITS COMING OUTWARDS SO WHEN I TURN THE TAP OFF I AM HAVING A *.....* SHOWER OF COLD WATER !

I go to the front door and hubby said "whats the matter" Now I have water dripping down my face it looks like a sketch from a laurel and hardy film and he cannot see I am drowned!

I now have had to go under the shower my clothes were soaking the floor is covered and I am so calm its unreal and frightening.

Well that's my rant over with phew steam has been expelled and I feel much better for it!

Lol!! having a good bank holiday then Tina! I always find when my OH power washes the patio and paths, it then takes a day to clean all the mud off the windows where it has splashed.

Power washers are toys for big boys I guess!

We are only doing this because we are having new french doors fitted on Friday and I said to OH you had better finish off the patio you started the other month - now when was that erm? before Christmas I think? ! As I did not want to be washing down brand new double glazed doors.

I have been living with a broken pan drawer for about 9 months in the kitchen. The carousel unit has ben broken for years! My bedroom has been half stripped of wallpaper for 4 years and on it goes

But if his friend, our neighbour, my sister or friend needs help of any description - off he goes like a very good chap and does it for them. *lifts up arms by sides and shrugs shoulders* I give up!

Well this is where we are all going wrong - we need to hire out our OH's to each other - *slap head and tuts* now why oh why do we not do that! They would not need to know of course that would be our secret LOL

We can advertise our OH's services - no dont - I dont mean those sort of services either! I can hear your minds ticking over - naughty naughty PMSL.

Mind you I do think harems have got something you know - push someone else forward when you've got a headache PMSL. The more the merrier!
