Sue, I hope that everything goes ok for your son, and I'm sending positive thoughts to you both.. My hubby was in the army and had lots of tours of Northern Ireland during the troubles and also served in Bosnia when it was at it's height and I think I know some of the things you are worrying about, albeit from a slightly different angle. i used to hate it when he went out of the door to go away. But you have to keep positive for them. Take care. |

My son who is in the Australian Army is about to go over to East Timor for a six month tour of duty. I would appreciate your positive thoughts. There are worse places for him to be deployed to but things are still a little dodgy over there. |
