Thought I'd search ancestry UK to see if we had any Ima's listed - a few but nothing as funny as Ima Pigg, though:

Ima Box (I'm surprised they didn't go the whole hog and give her a middle name of Wooden!)

Ima Taylor

LOL - I guess these parents had a sense of humour. Wonder if their kids found it funny though?

Hi Ive come across quite a few people with the first name Christmas in Norfolk.I often wonder if this is peculiar to these parts,or are there others around the country? Kay

Those were really funny - but I can't understand why any parent would be so cruel as to name a child "Fat" or "Skinny" as a first name. I had to laugh at the one with the alias of Ugly Ann (hmm.... I wonder why?)

I have come across a chap by the name of "Merry Christmas" on the census before.
