Mine stopped completely when I was about 41. It took me several months to notice though! (Never had particularly heavy periods anyway.) |

If you wanted to be sure, a blood test can determine if you are in the pre-menopausal stages as it measures the various hormone levels etc. |

could well be I suppose - you usually finish early if you started late. I had nearly left school when I started and therefore finished at 50!! |

Now I know I am only 41 (well will be in a couple of weeks) so early for menopause but is it common for periods to just get further apart without any other symptons of menopause. |
