I didn't report the person who had my mum, he was reporting me ...for asking him to delete her.

And how old are you Ian the same as you shoe size!!
It only polite to ask permistion first.
I've had a reply of GR and they will ask him to remove me and my living relatives.
I've also sent the chap involved a message to ask him. so we will see !!

Sad to say that the boards are full of that sort of childish puerile nonsense, along with the other throwing teddy out of the cot dramatics. That is one of the reasons that this is such a lightweight site in the genealogy stakes.

Should make this a place for adults only!

I had this last year.
Opened my tree and when new names came up there was my mum and rest of my family. so I said to him please can you remove them, he did say sorry, but then had another pm saying he was reporting me for being rude....

Don't use this site for storing you tree !!!

Thanks Lyndsey I've just done that, did realise I could.

Go to the section MY account then find and tick the button for" hide living relatives," this stops details of anyone shown for 120 years.

As Mildred says, GR will remove any living relatives he has put on his tree without their permission.

Why don't you publish his name so that everyone will know not to let him look at their tree and that any names in his tree should be disregarded as they are unresearched.....?

Moral of the story is dont keep a tree on here with things on it that you dont want people to use!

I contacted him via a Hit Match the birth year on that was 1816 so he has come forwards 100 years +.

I don't mined him taking of my tree. What has annoyed me is the fact he has put me and my living family members on his tree with out asking
I've left a message for Gr to see if they can ask him to remove the living ones.

Gr wont do anything, its your responsibility when you open up your tree should someone use that info.

The only thing they may do is ask them to remove living rellies you have showing & they have used.

No he isn't on my tree.
Don't get me wrong I don't mine people taking of my tree, but when they take all my living relatives without asking that what has annoyed me. He has even put my other half on we're not married so he is not even related to him.

Can I complain about another member to gene reunited if so how do I do it.
I've just opened my tree for someone to look at and he has nicked the whole lot right down to puttting me on his tree.
When I've just menchaned it to him he said I had an attitude.
