Not sure if you've seen this website:
http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/restless_legs/detail_restless_legs.htm

"Decreased use of caffeine, alcohol, and tobacco may provide some relief. Physicians may suggest that certain individuals take supplements to correct deficiencies in iron, folate, and magnesium."

The above extract is interesting as I was going to suggest magnesium supplements, I take them for twitches.

Have you thought about them flight socks, you know the ones that hug your legs tightly.

I've not experienced restless legs but am sitting here watching the muscle in my belly twitch (all by itself) and make my stomach bounce. Shouldn't be giggling but can't help it.

Oh I got some lovely ski-socks from debenhams. They're like sports socks but go all the way up to my knees... so snug! I get cramp in my calves a lot so I was hoping they might help.

These twitches are a pain in the butt...especially when I get one going there...when I'm driving! LOL. I burst into giggles during dinner the other day and they all looked at me like I was mad... the one in my butt was going and I couldn't speak for laughing. That said, when they go for longer than 5mins it starts to drive me nuts. I've had them last for days and it's worse than having hiccups! And you just can't recreate it.
