Fruin that is something that bugs me, I have one person who I have 20+ matches with who cant decide whether he is related to me not, he was at first till he found out the person who links us abandoned his wife and children then all of a sudden we are not. Ah well his loss as I have loads of information about them including the actual enlistment papers which I found in my nans family bible.

Great to hear of all the new connections. What really annoys me is when you try to connect to somebody who is obviously related but you get no reply. The site is called Genes Reunited. If they don't want to reunite why post trees on the site? It has happened twice to me in the past month and it really annoys me that they may have important info or that I may be able to give them some info but if they don't reply then neither of us will ever know.

On bottom of he death cert(Scotland) it must have been a last entry before inspection,,,,as its been written in that all entires in the Register have been duly check and all meet and have been certified by?and are correct inaccordence with the Register Act,, of Scotland,,,,,,,,,bit of social history,!!nice one,,,,,,,,,,

well I now have a Candlemaker....and Shepherd,,,,,,,,joining the upper classes now,,,,,,,,,,,

Have a cuppa to calm ya nerves a bit, do you have an address also? if you do it might be better to make contact first by letter it wont be so nerve wracking for both of you.

If you dont and are going to phone ask to speak to the person you want to, then explain who you are and why you are trying to contact them.
