So am I singing today.!!!!........!!have found a match,,,,and also back one more generation 1740 with names,,a direct link aswell...............
am gona have fun sharing all my stuff,,and to top it all,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,been looking for ages for death cert of 3xgran and found her,,,,,,,,but they have put 10years on her her poor soul.........no wonder she was so elusive for so long,,,,,,,,,,,I just love Scotlands records,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Hi Jax,,

On bottom of he death cert(Scotland) it must have been a last entry before inspection,,,,as its been written in that all entires in the Register have been duly check and all meet and have been certified by?and are correct inaccordence with the Register Act,, of Scotland,,,,,,,,,bit of social history,!!nice one,,,,,,,,,,

well I now have a Candlemaker....and Shepherd,,,,,,,,joining the upper classes now,,,,,,,,,,,

Great to hear of all the new connections. What really annoys me is when you try to connect to somebody who is obviously related but you get no reply. The site is called Genes Reunited. If they don't want to reunite why post trees on the site? It has happened twice to me in the past month and it really annoys me that they may have important info or that I may be able to give them some info but if they don't reply then neither of us will ever know.

Fruin that is something that bugs me, I have one person who I have 20+ matches with who cant decide whether he is related to me not, he was at first till he found out the person who links us abandoned his wife and children then all of a sudden we are not. Ah well his loss as I have loads of information about them including the actual enlistment papers which I found in my nans family bible.
