One of mine was living next door to her future husband. When his wife died, they got married! Unfortunately she died after having childbirth 4 years later.

gah, that was the one spelling for his first name that I didn't try LOL

lol... no worries. I'm just not up to it today.

She didn't hang around much between hubsbands but it was probably a case of survival

Tina, yes I was wondering if that was the case.

Would it possible be that Clough died and mother re-married a Fawcett and therefore children then had that name. Dodds and Clough could be her maiden name and perhaps Fawcett's mother's maiden name?

Totally bizaare thinking I know.
