I think this is great, never mind teenagers I do this with my OH - ughh he says I don't like decaffinated coffee, so keep jar refill with decaff, does he know the difference - does he heck. |

Very clever and sensible, I have done it in the past but not much. If my son when he was at home, wanted 'posh' stuff he either had it as part of a gift, like a stocking filler or paid for it himself out of his part time wages. They have to learn how to make the money stretch and if they are constantly allowed to have everything they want, regardless of cost, they will never learn to manage money. |

lol good one....when daughter was early teens gawd forbide if I bought her clothes at the cheaper stores...would only wear Le Chateau and such. Far as I was concerned jeans are jeans and even the more posh stores didn' t have labels on lots of their jeans. Besides most of the time she didn' t know one label from the other. I used to buy her jeans at the cheaper store, remove the tags then plop them in the Le Chateau bag.....she never did catch on........lol |
