Firstly, thank you to everyone who has been in touch :-)

After the complications with the hip replacement I then had a pulmonary embolism 3 weeks ago and spent another 5 days in hospital.

Last week I was admitted via 999 with chest pains and spent another night in hospital. They couldn't put me on a treadmill test because of my hip! So I have been treated for angina.

Yesterday I saw my surgeon as an emergency and he thinks that the nerve in my leg was damaged during the op and that is why I am in so much pain.

I am due to go in as an urgent day case for a nerve block injection in the hope that it may relieve some of the pain. Otherwise it could take up to 12 months to settle.

So all in all I am falling apart :-((

Whilst I am off the boards I still do think of you all, especially those undergoing treatment themselves and do pm when I am able.

I do need and appreciate all your support, it does help to know you have other people rooting for you.

Would people keep this nudged for 24 hours for me please.

Loads of love to you all

Sue xx
