There just HAS to be a link.

I'm not a great believer in coincidence.

Too many too close. Those beautiful young people.
Did they need help and why did they not ask for it?

Sandra ans Kitty, My heart goes out to anyone who is left this way.
Your while life would be destroyed forever.
Nothing ever the same again, and your poor aunt Sandra.... a broken heart just covers it for me. Poor woman.

problem is they are not rational enough at the time to think of the hurt they would cause - I speak as someone who attempted suicide about eleven years ago and failed - large overdose but fortunately woke up two days later. You don't think of anyone else at the time, just that you can't go on and that takes everything else right out of your mind - you just want to stop the world and get off

It makes me laugh, the police say there is no link, but they either knew each other or were friends of friends

The police say they aren't linked..................but to have so many in a fairly small area seem a bit too much of a coincidence.

Those poor families........ a relative of mine took his life and we still don't really understand why.

Something odd going on there, for sure.
I have lost two friends to suicide and their Mums suffered, one to her dying day and the other still suffering.

I think you have to be pretty desperate to do such a drastic thing as if you stop to think how it would affect your family, you surely wouldn't go ahead.

Suicides no matter what the age leave such a trail of guilt behind them apart from the grief of losing a loved one -I have often wondered would they have still carried this action out if only they had known. My heart does go out to those families - it cannot be coincidence surely - the rate is too high.

Now they are blaming the press for raising the profile and glamourising it ?

This is horrific - 17 in past year - another today. Two cousins last week. What on earth is going on?

God help their familes.
