Hi, Ronald!

You've got quite a collection there! I'm sure that you wished you had kept some of them! They'd be worth a packet now!

Then again, maybe not the tanks or the RAF Mini Bus. I think they's want to keep them!

Wow! There's some really wayout vehicles here!!

I think a psycologist could have fun with these lists.

Are you conservative (with a small c), like me with normal (?) cars?

Or do you buck the trend with strange ones?

Soft As - A double decker Bus? An Artic? How did you manage a Fiat, after that lot?

Sueby Doo - We all love Minis! Classic BRITISH car!!! They don't make 'em like that any more!!!

I've only seen a Traction Engine in a museum, Jill !

(`•¿•`) Loopy § Lady Ŀindy (`•¿-`) Report 19 Feb 2008 10:04

The Ford Corsair, I drove, was automatic. One day the Drive went. I was going up a hill, but the car wouldn't. I had to let it run backwards into a side road, turn and go down hill. Fortunately, there was a car park at the bottom of the hill, where I parked and phoned home.

My brother rescued me with his Land Rover. He gave me a quick lesson in how to drive it (double de-clutching, etc!) Then, he drove the Corsair to a garage (about 20 miles), while I drove the Land Rover and picked him up. He made me drive all the way home, again!!!
