Mary,

I know how painful it is to loose a beloved four footed friend.
The house feels empty and a foreign place.

Please think of getting a puppy or a kitten, you are not replacing
your old boy as he will forever be in your heart.

Animals give us so much happiness and unconditional love.

Thanks girls - really appreciate it. Had a bad day yesterday for some reason - but I know I will remember the good times - have loads of memories of our little Westie.

Thanks for putting this up Lindy - glad Spain is not the only place to be dull and damp !!!

Sorry to read this news Mary, it is so sad to let our lovely pets go but when we know we have given them the best life we can and they have returned it with devotion and fun, then that is the reward.
I hope you will find a new little pet needing your love, when you are ready.

Hello Mary, and of course sorry to hear of your loss.

One of the things we thought of, apart from being animal lovers anyway, is that when we've lost a feline member of the family, after a few weeks we've asked the RSPCA or CPL if we could offer a home to one of their inmates (even though they could never "replace" the lost pet). Then we've said that our deceased pet gave the new pet a home. Sounds cheesy maybe, but it helps at the time. And, of course, it's true. :-))
Take care, your lovely little Westie is at Rainbow Bridge now.
