It sounds to me either he has something stuck, like a splinter or similar or even a tick, or a claw growing awkwardly... a visit to the vet is probably the best thing, as they will be able to see properly what is wrong. |

Hi Rose, does your friend use any kind of carpet freshener? if so it's probably this causing the feet to itch, I had a friend who use 'shake and vac', it made her jack russels feet sore as well as the stomach through laying on the carpets. |

our old bull terrier kept doing this and they were red raw - numerous vets tried to solve the problem with most saying it was caused by dust mites but sadly we never ever got it cured - we used hemp oil on his feet and that helped somewhat and he used to have Oil of Evening Primrose capsules |
