Yup, sat in lounge for almost a week. Got to go into a case and then after a day were told we had to find accused innocent due to inconsistencies between witness statement and testimony. Afterwards we were told all about the history of the suspect and it was sickening, he was obviously guilty and got away with it on a technicality. |

I waited for years to be called and then out of the blue it came - had a great time and met a load of nice people. Was on two cases - one alleged rape and one a sort of incest. We found both defendants not guilty I'm glad to say. The young lad in the rape case cried when I said [I was foreman for that one] Not Guilty, and his family nearly collapsed. Found out after that the little madam had made such claims before but we did not believe her thank goodness. As to the guy in the second case, he was "set up" and we all recognised that and he was found not guilty too - all in all a good experience. |
