ann that would be right spen valley is liversedge and surrounding areas but not a lot off ppl use spen anymore...your been a great help thanks a lot lisa xx

checked it, it is/was W yorkshire so that is the one.

Now you really need to send for the marriage certificate, that will give your Gt grandfathers' names. So can you find £7.????
